E-learning Content Interface Developer
Following initial hire as a contract employee by one of the top providers of financial services, retained as a full-time employee to design e-learning modules for an intranet college system utilized by financial advisors. Position entails designing interactive learning programs, coordinating and filming multi-camera video shoots, editing videos to meet training objectives and providing IT support to a team of 20 individuals.
Successfully redesigned online material templates for easier navigation and improved accessibility that has resulted in a marked increase in pass rates of financial advisors. Team lead on the project to optimize server usage via deletion of obsolete/redundant files and the creation of an extensive media library used by online students; efforts sped up server response time, reduced server down-time and increased content writers productivity and efficiency.
Produced, directed and edited a DVD targeting the advisor population that contributed to a $19.7 million increase in APE for the company. Nominated as employee of the year for successful efforts to transition the company from a face-to-face learning environment to one of primarily on-line learning.
The HulaGroup: 1995 - Current
Founder
Spearheaded the development of a successful website design and marketing firm including initial funding, staffing, client relations, creation of prototypes, development of product concepts, directing video shoots and conducting photography studio sessions. Coordinates a staff of five print and web designer/developers, photographers and writers.
Launched the design of a winning Christmas marketing promotion and contest for Rockfish Seafood Grill that amplified sales and increased customer retention.
Additional clients successfully served include The Burghley Park Clinic, Diego Brown, Halls of the Machine, Pleasure Club, James Lockridge and 20x2.
Stanley Security Solutions—Europe: 2004 - 2005
New Media Designer/Project Manager
Selected by this Fortune 500 Company and worldwide supplier of business tools, hardware and security systems to develop back-end systems for the e-commerce and marketing divisions. Served as project lead on the design, development, testing and live launch of multiple websites. Integrated existing product sites into the corporate design and developed server and client-side web applications.
Orchestrated the turn-around of an everyday e-commerce solution to a user-friendly storefront utilizing interactive navigation and dynamic content that significantly increased online order processing.
Led the design of Flash and HTML websites for various entities within the company as well as product marketing and worked in close collaboration with the IT team to ensure functionality of all nine website properties.
Rockfish Seafood Grill: 2002 - 2003
Art Director, Print & Online Designer
Served as sole website and print designer for this nationwide chain of seafood restaurants. Maintained restaurant website, developed print ads and environmental advertising and created a new visual direction for the company’s marketing strategy.
