New Year's Mystery Give-Away
Rockfish Seafood Grill & Coca-Cola
Description:This was a mystery bounceback marketing promotion sponsored by Coca-Cola. Envelopes were handed out to guests before Christmas with a message on the back to return them, unopened, to the store in January to receive a free gift. Each envelope contained a card that announced the prize won. Prizes included a 42" Flat Screen HDTV, Apple iPods, and food vouchers.
The envelopes were printed full color and the insert cards printed in a single color. The promotion was very successful and has been repeated since.
Restaurant Menu
Rockfish Seafood Grill
Description:Rockfish contracted me to redesign their table, to-go, and catering menus. The cover concept for the table menu was a collection of hunting and fishing memorabilia. The majority of the photography for the items on the front cover and the inside of the menu was taken by me and composited using Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. The menu was then assembled using Adobe Illustrator.
I found it particularly difficult working on a menu such as this as I was constantly craving the food. If you are ever near a Rockfish restaurant, I suggest you try the Fish Tacos, blackened. Or perhaps you can find something else on the menu more to your tastes.

Autumn Ball Poster & Invitation
Stanley Security Solutions—Europe
Description: Poster and Invitation design for annual black tie fund-raising event. The event organizer wanted to use earthtones and give the piece an Autumn feel.
The leaf was created in Illustrator and imported into Photoshop to layer over the background. That image was then taken back into Illustrator to create the rest of the layout. The charity's logo was also re-created using Illustrator so that the lines would be clean and the logo scalable.
An A3 poster was printed in four-colour process and the A5 invitation was printed using digital output.
College of Communications Brochure
The University of Texas at Austin
Description: This general information brochure is meant to inform prospective students about all that the college has to offer as well as give an overview of the various degree programs and courses of study available.
The piece is designed as a three panel folder that, depending on how it is folded, can also act as a self-mailer. An interior pocket allows for department-specific and current faculty information to be inserted as needed.
The exterior was printed in black and spot color offset on colored heavy stock and the interior pages are printed in black ink on glossy 80lb text weight stock.
