All In The Family

DC's Cafe, Dallas

Brief:DC's Cafe is a unique type of eating experience in the heart of Dallas, Texas.Screenshot of All In The Family site Authentic, down-home southern cooking made from scratch each day with a peppering of familal love. It required a home-made feel and simplistic attitude.

Result:The restaurant's menu, an old well-worn chalkboard, was used as the backdrop for all of the sites graphic elements. The titling, headers, straplines, and borders were all drawn by hand in chalk and photographed digitally. The photos used in the story were "taped" onto the page. The hand-tooled look of the site merged well with the story of this incredible family and their restaurant.

The Offbeat Arena

BroadbandNow! Inc.

Brief:The site would feature 15 unusual sports that most people had likely never heard of. Screenshot of Offbeat Arena site The brief required a dynamic nature that would grow as a new sport was added each week. Each story used Flash animation and live video.

Chasing the Dream

Meredith Louise Miller
